Why is my credit/debit card getting declined?

Having a credit/debit card declined is a huge pain, especially when you’re trying to book one of Gixon’s wonderful artists for your event! While Gixon does not control whether credit/debit card purchases are processed, we have a few troubleshooting tips:

  • Check that the credit/debit card number and entered into your ‘Payment Method’ match the information on your credit/debit account
  • Check that your card isn’t expired
  • Confirm that there are funds available for your booking. This is especially important if you’re using a card in a different currency (the exchange rate any foreign currency fees are set by the credit/debit company, not Gixon or Stripe)
  • Call your bank or credit card company, give them the details of the purchase you are trying to complete, and ask them to ensure the transaction gets approved
  • If all this fails, consider trying a different credit/debit card
